I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Georgia.

While this is only my 2nd year teaching, my entire life has been spent working  with children. I began teaching Vacation Bible School at my church when I was only a teenager. I volunteered in the classroom of my mother, a retired kindergarten teacher, all throughout high school. Later, I became a Sunday School teacher and G.A. leader. I also homeschooled my children for two years. I worked in the kid's area at Gold's Gym and substitute taught in Douglas County for 5 years before deciding to go back to school to earn my degree.

My life centers around my work and my children. For 20 years I was a stay-at-home mother to my son, Bryce, who is 20, and my daughter, Olivia, who is 14. I began substitute teaching when my daughter started school and loved it so much that I decided to go back to college and earn my degree so that I could become an educator.
