I recieved a bachelors in Music Performance from Auburn University in 2010, and completed my music education k-12 certification at the University of West Georgia in 2012.


I attended Central High School, under the direction of Neil Ruby. After graduating in 2006, I attended Auburn University, where I received my bachelors degree in music performance in 2010. While at Auburn I performed in many ensembles including the University Wind Symphony, The Auburn University Trumpet Ensemble, the Auburn Community Orchestra, the Auburn University Marching Band, multiple pep bands, and the Auburn Knights Jazz Orchestra. I worked as the student- clinician and trumpet instructor for the inaugural middle school and high school Auburn Summer Music Camps in 2009 and 2010. After graduating from Auburn, I attended the University of West Georgia where I received my teaching certificate. I began working at Beulah Elementary as a music educator for grades k-5 in 2013, before moving to Chapel Hill Elementary in 2015.
