Character education is an important part of the curriculum at Chapel Hill Elementary.  We strive to build a common set of values among our students.  Each week a different concept like punctuality, generosity, honesty, or self-control is stressed.  These traits are introduced during morning announcements and are emphasized in the discussions that occur in classrooms.  We believe it is not only important to teach the concepts, but also to encourage students to apply the concepts on a daily basis. 

As part of our commitment to stress these values, we recognize a student each month that we feel exemplifies that month's highlighted character trait.  This recognition includes the student's picture being posted on our Character Wall.  Congratulations to the following students who have received recognition during the 2016-2017 school year:
